At Harvey’s Paws & Pieces, our story starts long before we ever sold our first bag of dog food.

Growing up, Mike’s family raised poodles, so animals were always part of daily life. Caring for dogs wasn’t just a hobby — it was part of the household. From an early age, he learned how much pets depend on us for their health, comfort, and happiness, and how deeply they become part of the family.

Nicole has also been around animals her entire life. Between the two of us, caring for pets has always been second nature.

Over the years, friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors would constantly ask us questions about feeding, care, and finding dependable food options that didn’t feel overpriced or overcomplicated. That eventually led to the creation of Harvey’s Paws & Pieces.

We started HPP with a simple goal:provide quality dog food with honest service, fair pricing, and a personal touch that’s hard to find from big-box brands. As a local family-operated business based in Gardner KS, we believe buying dog food should feel simple and personal.
